On August 2 a girl at my school was involved in a serious car accident. She was non responsive at the site and transported via helicopter to Memorial Hospital. Since then she has been in a coma but has been making little baby steps each day. On Wednesday she was moved to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Now her family needs all the help they can get. If you wish to donate money please visit http://staystrong4lauren.com/ . And if you do not wish to donate any money please keep the family and Lauren in your prayers, she has a long fight ahead of her. To check on Lauren's progress check out http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/laurenpokuta .
God Bless.

Life
Well I have not written for awhile but I have been extremely busy with school, work, and my farm life. I have missed going on Hanson.net and everything. It has been a stressful few months but I have been able to work through it. I got all As this semester and have a 4.0. I'm extremely excited for the up and coming year. I'll finally be a senior!! I hope that more Hanson concerts will come soon because I'm 'itching" to go to one. Everyone who got to go to the London 5 of 5 was extremely lucky! I hope they will share some of the experience. How have you fansons been? I hope I will have something more interesting to talk about later!
Peace, Love, Hanson!

No Tour This Year?
I was really upset to find out that there is going to be no United States tour this year. :( I am happy for everyone else who can go see them though. I would love for Hanson to do 5 of 5 in Chicago! That way it is closer to home for me and I would be able to go. I also cannot go to MOE. Tulsa is just to far away and my cousin will not drive that far. Alas, it looks like I will have to wait a long time for another tour. I just hope they do tour again. I'm young and I really love being able to experience my favorite band live. I don't want to miss out on the experience. It's so different when you get to see them in person instead of watching them on a television screen or a computer screen. Hanson, PLEASE TOUR FOR YEARS TO COME!

Nashville, Tennessee
This summer I went to Nashville with my friends for the F.B.L.A. National Conference (for those who don't know, it's Future Business Leaders of America). We went to the Wild Horse Saloon to eat and we saw these posters! When I asked if I could have one the cashier told me to call back after the concert and they would mail them to me for free. Well when I called and asked they said they would sell it to me for $50! I was extremely angry, needless to say I didn't get the poster. :(
My Story
You could say this all started thirteen years ago. I was three years old and my older cousins liked listening to this band. Eventually I learned the all the words to two of their songs. A few years then went by and I didn't hear about this band anymore. Then one day I was looking up videos on youtube and I found the song Mmmbop, I listened to it and realized I knew all the words still. I then asked my cousin if I could borrow her c.d. and she said which one. I didn't really know so I just said all of them. After listening to all of the songs I realized this band was awesome. I couldn't contain my excitement. And so I have been a fan of the band Hanson for the longest time. Most of you who aren't fans will probably give me the same crap I usually get but it doesn't matter to me. The ones who do understand may find this interesting or pathetic. Either way I figure I need to express my feelings in some way and this is the way I found to do it. With this blog I hope people will listen to my story of being a Hanson fan that is only a teenager.
Wish me luck fellow fansons!
